Every year, the Gonstead Chiropractic Society (Aust) hosts a series of seminars and workshops across Australia to teach the Gonstead System to Chiropractic doctors and students. In August 2016, GCS(Aust) welcomed our American leaders in Gonstead education – Dr John Cox, Dr Po, and Dr Amy Kolman to Melbourne for the International Gonstead Seminar. Every year, the GCS(Aust) Diplomates and Fellows meet the day before the seminar to present case studies and discuss any advancements in the profession, particularly in the field of neurology.
Dr David Leach of New Farm Chiropractic has been a GCS(Aust) Diplomate for over 15 years, and this year was accepted as a Fellow of the society. Dr Leach is now qualified to teach the Gonstead System at the GCS(Aust) Seminars and workshops. To achieve this honour, Dr Leach has several years experience of supervised teaching, and submitted a case study of 20 patients regarding the case management of coccyx pain. His case study was awarded the David Byrnes Memorial Award for Clinical Excellence. A great achievement!
